Ryo is an incredibly talented photographer. We had a rainy wedding day, and he still managed to capture absolutely gorgeous photos. He captured the essence of the day - his photos really highlighted the feelings of myself, my husband, and all of our family and friends throughout the day and evening.
We really felt we could be ourselves around Ryo and it shows in the photos! Cannot recommend him enough!
A Rainy Wedding Day to Remember
I've photographed countless weddings, but I’ve never seen rain like this on a wedding day. It wasn’t a gentle drizzle or even a steady patter—it was a torrential downpour that turned the lush Sussex countryside into a patchwork of puddles and mud. The rain came in sheets, soaking everything in its path, yet it did nothing to dampen the joy and spirit of Bethany and James incredible day at Rumbolds Farm.
Nestled amidst rolling hills and rustic barns, Rumbolds Farm is the epitome of countryside charm. Its cozy barn and sprawling gardens usually make for picture-perfect weddings, but on this particular day, we had to get creative. While the rain relentlessly pounded the earth, Hannah and Michael embraced it with grace and laughter, proving that the weather was no match for their love story.
A Morning of Warmth and Laughter
The bridal preparations were in full swing. The house buzzed with excitement as Bethany's talented maid of honour styled her hair to perfection. The chatter, laughter, and the occasional pop of champagne created a joyful energy that was contagious. Outside, the rain poured, but inside, there was nothing but warmth.
The ceremony which was pushed inside, was a heartfelt celebration of their love. The registrar delivered a touching and personal service, and as Bethany and James exchanged vows, you could feel the depth of their connection. Guests dabbed at tears, room filled with laughter and Joy.
A Rustic Celebration in the Rain
The rain showed no signs of letting up. But instead of lamenting the weather, Bethany and James leaned into the rustic charm of their venue. The barns became cozy havens for games, laughter, and love.
Dancing in the Rain
As night fell, the rain still hadn’t let up, but the barn came alive with music and laughter. The glitter bar, a glamorous highlight of the evening, ensured every guest sparkled as they hit the packed dance floor. The moment of the night? An the happy couple's first dance, a heartfelt and electrifying number that had everyone cheering.
Rain or shine, the day was unforgettable. Bethany and James's love radiated through every moment, transforming the stormy weather into a backdrop for a truly magical celebration.
