There’s something truly magical about capturing a wedding in London. The city’s rich history, iconic architecture, and vibrant energy make for an incredible backdrop to one of life’s most cherished moments. And when you add in the opportunity to collaborate with talented fellow wedding suppliers, the experience becomes even more special. 


Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a breathtaking wedding that unfolded between two of London’s most stunning locations—Fitzrovia Chapel and St Paul’s Cathedral. From intimate details to grand architectural splendour, every moment was infused with beauty, love, and creativity.


Fitzrovia Chapel: An Intimate Jewel in the Heart of London


Nestled in the heart of Fitzrovia, this exquisite chapel is a hidden gem. With its intricate golden mosaic ceiling, ornate detailing, and intimate ambience, Fitzrovia Chapel offers the perfect setting for a romantic wedding ceremony. As a wedding photographer, I was in awe of the way the light danced across the gilded interiors, creating an ethereal glow that highlighted every tender moment between the couple.


The ceremony itself was heartfelt and emotional, with the couple exchanging vows under the chapel’s breathtaking dome. Every tear, smile, and loving glance was accentuated by the intimate setting, making it a dream to capture through my lens.

St Paul’s Cathedral: A Grand Backdrop for Timeless Portraits


Following the ceremony, we made our way to the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral for wedding portraits. The grandeur of this historic landmark provided a striking contrast to the intimacy of Fitzrovia Chapel. As the couple stood on the steps of the cathedral, framed by its magnificent dome and towering columns, the scene was nothing short of cinematic.


One of my favourite moments was capturing the couple as they wired in the setting sun. At this location, the blend of historical and modern elements of the city perfectly encapsulated the essence of a London wedding—timeless, yet ever-evolving.
