A Magical Celebration at Cain Manor: Simon and Vanessa's Unforgettable Wedding
Once upon a time (well, in January 2020 to be exact), I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely couple, Vanessa and Simon, who had plans to tie the knot at the enchanting Cain Manor. Their infectious charm and genuine warmth made an immediate impression on me, so you can imagine my excitement when I received an email the very next day, declaring that they wanted me to capture their special day. Oh, the joy! But then, well, you-know-what happened... and the wedding had to be postponed. Yet, through all the uncertainties, I was elated to be available for their rescheduled date in September 2021.
Time flew by in a blur of lockdowns but before we knew it, the eagerly anticipated day had arrived. And what a day it was! The sun smiled upon us, Simon's friends and family made the journey to be there, and an air of celebration enveloped the atmosphere, filling every heart with joy.
Vanessa began her preparations in the tranquil haven of the Bridal Suite. Her calm demeanour was a sight to behold, as if she had an inner serenity that nothing could shake. I've captured countless brides on their big day, but Vanessa's remarkable composure stood out. Simon, too, exuded a sense of tranquility when I caught up with him later. With a calm start to the day and the guests settled in their seats for the ceremony, the stage was set for Vanessa's grand entrance.
The ceremony unfolded as an intimate tapestry of heartfelt moments. Simon and Vanessa exchanged vows that were both deeply personal and brimming with humor. With the weather on our side, we stole away shortly after the speeches for some intimate photos during the most magical golden hour.
It was the perfect way to round things off before heading back inside for a coffee and a bit of photo-boothing (yes, that’s officially a word now) And boy, did they deliver with the props! It was an absolute blast, and they ignited the party like no other.
